Chopped Fiberglass Mat
Chopped strand matting glass reinforcement using a powder binder. Because the powder binder breaks down physically, rather than by a solvent in the resin, powder-bound CSM can be used with solvent-free resins, such as epoxy.
Fiberglass chopped strand mats provide excellent water resistance and high strength, making them ideal for constructing boat hulls and decks. The mat's ability to mould into intricate shapes is particularly beneficial for manufacturing sleek, aerodynamic watercraft designs.
